AuthShield offers a comprehensive solution for securing access across a diverse range of software applications within an organization's IT landscape. The authentication app itself is designed as a convenient form factor installed directly on the user's smartphone. It innovatively moves beyond traditional One Time Passwords (OTPs) by employing a challenge-response mechanism that transforms the mobile device into a secondary authentication factor. Each login attempt prompts a push notification to the registered device, containing details such as login IP address, timestamp, and estimated location based on IP data. The user can then choose to approve or deny the request directly from their handset.

This approach creates a 'hackproof' token that cannot be compromised—even in scenarios where either the server or the device might be under threat. The system's design ensures that unauthorized access through device or server compromise is significantly mitigated.

To utilize AuthShield effectively:

<li>You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.</li>
<li>Input the OTP to complete your login securely.</li>
</ol>

It is important to note that the application operates in conjunction with the AuthShield backend server. For further guidance on support, activation procedures, or troubleshooting, users should contact their IT administrator or support team. The platform supports multiple authentication methods, including OTP and one-click login capabilities, to enhance user convenience and security.
